Thanks Kelli and Pranav. Your comments mean a lot to me. Writing is often a kind of lonely practice, and without readers to appreciate it, it's a much less rich experience.

I did very much enjoy doing the research on various mythologies for the J&A books. I think it's interesting that so many different kinds of people have such similar stories and beliefs. For me, story is part of what it means to be human. I know I can't live without them myself.

Hello!First of all i want you to know that I read the first trilogy and the stilness in less than a week and I AM working!You're so talented you got me obssessed with Jason and Azazel!
I'm not sure Kieran must die, I want him to watch Jason and Azazel's reunion!Because they have to reunite!Azazel must forgive him, in the last book she hurt more people than he did. I feel for Jason he really never had anybody to believe in him, to help him feel human and normal!I'm actually pretty pissed at Azazel and even Marlena!!And now they have his son….So sad!
I hope you'll give us more details about the OF in your next books I can't just figure out if they're good or bad..
Keep up the good work vj you(re awesome!!!

Kieran. I like him. But I think he should die. Not yet tho, and I may change my mind. I think Jason should get ahold of him and really f**k him up out of jealousy. Beat the s**t out of him, maybe torture him a bit. But I don't want J 2 kill him. I reckon he should die a hero's death, saving people. Maybe getting beaten 2 death by a crazed mob.

What's with the guest comment from couple weeks ago? "and now they have his son"? or is that from a later chapter that hasn't been uploaded yet? If so – WTF?! Don't spoil it 4 the rest of us!

Anyway, love the books. V.original and creative. Unusual, unexpected & v.cool. The wait 4 new chapters seems interminable! More, more, more!

I have read all of your books, twice. I can think of quotes from them, easily! Its so amazing, and you're so blunt. I was reading what you had put up here for Stillness in the Air, and just, wow. I don't want to think Jason's the bad guy! And you should kill kieran!!! HE'S A MAIN CHARACTER!!!!! I like him too, very different from Jason, and he seemed that he wouldn't die. You kill kieran, and I will not read the book!

You need to post this in the Kill Kieran thread so that we can get a lively debate going on. I promise he lives until the end of this book. I haven't written the other two, so I can't promise anything about them yet.

OK, just finished Stillness tonight…I have to agree with a lot of people on this thread, I love J+A together. I was a little upset to have them separate for this book. Also I think it's an awesome plot that you got going with making Azazel just as "bad" as Jason now. I really don't know which one is more crazy, but I do know that I would love them to be crazy together. I don't think Kieran needs to die, but I have to agree with Jason…he is in the way : )

Love your writing and can't wait for the other two books to come out. It's great to find a writer that is taking it to the next level with their characters!
